Dr. Rodrigo Munoz obtained his Doctor of Psychology degree from California Southern University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Munoz also holds a Master’s degree in Psychology with a concentration in Child and Adolescent Development and is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of New York. Currently, Dr. Munoz specializes in working with adult individuals with co-occurring disorders and utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy and Motivational Interviewing in addition to others depending on the needs of the individual. Dr. Munoz's experience varies from working in inpatient units, outpatient services and community-based mental health settings.
